Rejuvenating the sun and avoiding other global catastrophes

About this book

"Dr. Martin Beech's main research interests during the past decade have focused on the smaller objects within the Solar System (comets, asteroids, and meteoroids), but concomitant to this he has continued to perform research related to the structure and evolution of stars (the area of his doctoral studies). The material in this book was partly based on a series of research papers Dr. Beech has had published in scientific journals, and the topic was the focus of an article written for the May 2006 issue of Astronomy Now magazine."--Jacket.
