Although the majority of Ann Calder's descendants were not, and are not, great persons in the narrow sense, not towering national figures, not men and women who have done remarkable feats with Olympic metals or Nobel prizes to their credit, they are, nonetheless, special people who have contributed to the building of the Canadian nation!
