Best described as a pocket book giving acoount and analysis of the court proceedings and the true outcome. The writer was probably standing up for the then Community of Broxborne in the matter of the mismanagement of the properties and funds of two of the bequeathed charities by the Trustees. the style of writing is quite amusing in parts. Fly leaf of book header ADVERTISEMENT describes briefly the content. quote: " The cause in which Thomas Paris Fenner is Plaintiff and George Jacob Bosanquet and Francis Hill (the latter Parish Clerk of Broxborne, and late Charity Schoolmaster) are defendents, having given rise to the publication of this book; the author wishes that it should be read generally by all persons connected with the County of Hertford: especially those, who saw the report of the trial in "The County Press" of 10th of July Last, it will therefore be supplied free of charge, upon application being made for the same , to THOMAS PARIS FENNER, Broxborne Hertfordshire."
