Un arte nuevo

About this book

Between everyday life and dreams, fueled by memory and landscape, María Izquierdo's painting is today a benchmark of national art, a work of rebellion and escape, with a marked Mexican character that is diluted in dreamlike figures full of melancholy and that in each stroke affirms the talent of a woman in a scenario dominated by masculinity and nationalism.--translation provided by translate.google.com
