Estructura político territorial del Imperio tenochca

About this book

"An impressive tome with a solid footing in primary research. Extracts careful detail on the political geography of the Tenochca empire. After exploring the tripartite structure as illuminated in annals, chronicles, and codices, follows that broad regional organization, tracing information about tributary veins in each area and in the outlying reaches of the empire. Also includes a fascinating study of the human groups (warriors, colonists, public works laborers, merchants, and ceremonial participants) who facilitated the functioning of the empire. Provides helpful name and place indices"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
