The author shares his spiritual journey and why his retreats to this area have helped him connect with God during the health crises of his son and his work as a priest in a Latino barrio. The book is inclusive of all spiritualities and provides detailed directions, maps and historical background to help the reader's experience of contemplative walks in these little known places.
