About this book

AKA Fighting Kid From Eldorado. (Blub from cover) - The toughest gun north of the border was laying for him. (Back cover) - Winchester slugs were waiting for him to hit town...Worn and leathery from months in the saddle. The Kid drew rein in out-of-bounds, gun-charged Eldorado....He came for a woman as headstrong as she was beautiful - and to track down the killer who would be lurking - with guns drawn - behind any door in town. This is one of MacDonald's stand alone novels. Fairly predictable but still enjoyable western with values true for the time it was written. copyright 1938 - this information from Avon 865 paperback.
