Twin Loyalties

About this book

What happens when the loved one of a person without money or influence disappears? Orphaned Katie finds out when her estranged identical twin sister, Eve, disappears and no one, who should help her, will help her. Confronted by Vancouver City Police who avoid responsibility for investigating her sister's disappearance, Katie follows Eve's trail on a cross-continent bus trip and into a world of political corruption as well as a past and a heritage the twins' late grandfather had tried to leave behind. With her only clue an ancient North American Native script written on a fragile scroll, 21 year old Katie vows to do what her heroes, the ground team for the Apollo 13 astronauts, did by using what little she has to bring her sister back alive. *Twin Loyalties: from the Chronicles of Tar Ponds City* transports the reader into a world hidden in plain sight- where society's bystander-justified indifference forces those with a missing family member to dwell.
