The Pope's Assassin

About this book

The best-kept secret of the Catholic Church. A set of ancient scrolls which threaten that secret. And a journalist who has made it her life mission to discover the truth-at any cost. In Iznik, Turkey, an elderly historian finds a set of ancient church scrolls. Dating back to A.D. 325, the scrolls are the greatest discovery of all time, and possibly a threat to the best-kept secret of the Catholic Church. But before the man can study them, he's found dead. Suspicious about what the historian may have uncovered, Rafael, the shadowy priest/operative, is sent to investigate. He discovers evidence that may implicate Sarah Montiero, the British journalist who already knows too many of the Church's secrets. In the Pope's personal library is a copy of the document in question- the first thing a Pope reads when he is elected, handed down only upon his coronation. Will the world soon learn what revelations it holds?
