My brother's gun

About this book

When the eldest son of an attractive family inexplicably kills a security guard and promptly takes flight, the brother and mother he leaves behind are not - as might be expected - ostracized. Instead the insatiable media celebrate their plight, transfixed by their misfortune. They become media darlings. When the second murder occurs, they are full-fledged stars. The issues of life and death, ethics and morality, notoriety and anonymity - all are deconstructed and rebuilt in the form of a brilliant narrative that portrays our society's obsession with fame.
