Now Nava Atlas, one of the most respected names in vegetarian and vegan cooking, addresses this need in more than 200 mouthwatering, completely doable recipes for special (and everyday) occasions, from Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah to celebratory dinners, brunches, potlucks, and buffets-with a special section on desserts. Even non-vegans will be surprised and delighted by mouthwatering Coconut Butternut Squash Soup and Green Chili Corn Bread to start off a cold-weather holiday meal, followed by a Hearty Vegetable Pot Pie or a serving of delicate Ravioli with Sweet Potatoes and Sage. A Mixed Greens Salad with Pears and Glazed Pecans adds zest and sweetness to any meal, and the author's take on Thanksgiving stuffing (Field Roast Vegan Sausages and Mushrooms) and desserts (Pumpkin Cheesecake with a Hint of Chocolate or a Cashew Chocolate Mousse Pie!) will convince even the most skeptical eater that vegan cooking is the way to go---and not just on holidays"--
