Garment of praise

About this book

One secret stands in the way of her happiness. Hailey Austin knows her sister means well. She's just shared a Bible verse that promises God will give His people "the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." But Hailey also knows she can never let her guard down. She can never allow herself to get close to a man. Hailey has a terrible secret that she is determined to carry, if need be, to her grave. And then Cody Worth, the man she has always longed for, enters her life. With her burden growing heavier, Hailey fights to control her jealousy as another woman enters Cody's life. Will Hailey ever relinquish the guilt and pain of the past? When will she realize that nothing stands in the way of her happiness, except her refusal to lay her burden at the foot of the cross?
