About this book

"Moderna Museet has one of the world's finest collections of modern and contemporary art, with key works representing most styles of the 20th century. However, the collection reflects the male perspective of art history that has prevailed up to the present day, when attitudes and the gender balance is finally changing. The Second Museum of Our Wishes shows how 26 works of art by 14 artists can make a difference: Louise Bourgeois, Judy Chicago, Susan Hiller, Tora Vega Holmström, Anna Kagan, Mary Kelly, Hilma af Klint, Barbara Kruger, Lee Lozano, Alice Neel, Lyubov Popova, Carolee Schneemann, Monica Sjöö and Dorothea Tanning."
