With the book "Seventeen Swedish Embassies built 1959-2006" the National Property Board Sweden (SFV) opens the doors to 17 of Sweden's embassies and ambassador's residences designed by Swedish architects. Design writer Hedvig Hedqvist and photographer Åke E:son Lindman take us from one continent to another, where the aim is for Swedish values to be brought to life in equal measure in different cultures - a challenge for developers, architects and interior designers. The book is an updated version of "Fourteen Swedish Embassies built 1959-99" which was published in 2001.
