Phil K Swift and The Neighborhood Street Rockers

About this book

Phil K Swift is one of the coolest cats you will ever meet in your entire wildest fantasy of a life, for real. He is a legend in his own mind whose world revolves around break dancing, girls, hip-hop, house music, and a rock n roll lifestyle. This hella-crazy ass adventure is about the underground culture of the 1980’s break dance scene that tracks the life and times of a sometimes cocky, sometimes awkward high schooler that realizes teen peer pressure can really be a “Punk Ass Bee-otch sometimes.” Swift navigates the tough Windy City streets of Chicagoland and brings together a diverse group of Bboys (breakers) that become known as the Neighborhood Street Rockers. Included is a Bboy, Boogie Bob, who has Leukemia, which forces Phil to think about grown up stuff that, “usually only hundred year olds have to think about.” There is plenty of crude humor in this “slice of Americana” and “coming of age story.” GUYS: If you are asked, “Do you want a free pizza?” you most likely will want to say “NO!” Go to: TheezNutz.com and see why. (Yes, look at Theez Nutz.) GIRLS: While reading this novel you will learn that BOYS WILL LIE THEIR TEETH OFF to try and get “what” they want from you. (Yes, you know “what” I’m talking about.) If you have ever been “played” or are the “player” you must read this book NOW! Can Phil and his crew make it out of the gangbanger laden Chicagoland Rink alive? Read NOW and find out
