The life and teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi inspired many biographies in many languages. The first biography in Telugu was written in 1936 by 'Krishna Bikshu' and has the distinction of being seen by Sri Bhagavan himself. But the style of Telugu, common at that time, is somewhat inaccessible for today's reader. The present writer's lucid style brings the life of Sri Bhagavan closer to the hearts of the ever widening circle of his devotees whose mother tongue is Telugu.
