Producer

About this book

Wendy Walker is one of those invisible forces who has shaped our perception of the world. For the past fourteen years she has been the senior executive producer of Larry King Live, responsible for landing the exclusive interviews with the most important newsmakers and well-known celebrities from around the globe that have been the hallmark of CNN's #1 show. For example, she orchestrated the 1993 NAFTA debate between Vice President Al Gore and Ross Perot; which remains, to this day, one of the highest rated programs in cable television history. Starting as a secretary at ABC some 30 years ago, Wendy has climbed up the male-dominated world of television production. Her passion and work ethic are undeniable, but it has always been her heart that has been her guide. And it's with the same zeal and loving spirituality that she shares her life in this memoir.--From publisher description.
