These are the songs that are sung in our Crusades throughout the world. They are some of my favorites. I hope we have included some of your favorites, too, for singing is a vital part of religious worship. It is my belief that the saving of a human soul is God's greatest miracle. These songs of the gospel have often helped to accomplish this. Certainly it is significant that the same eras which have produced wide-spread revivals have also produced soul-stirring gospel songs. As men have felt God's marvelous presence, their hearts have burst forth in spontaneous songs, giving glory to God. We have selected these particular songs and hymns because we feel that they did come forth out of revival and evangelism. We also believe these powerfully express the great concept that God is a good God. With a prayer that souls will be saved and sick bodies will be delivered, this book of great songs is dedicated to Jesus of Nazareth. May you personally feel his presence as, together, we lift our voices in praise. - Foreword.
