It has many color screenshots, as well as color illustrated overhead area maps, and official Nintendo illustrations. It has detailed text describing how to complete each dungeon level, and locations of every item, as well as tips and strategy on performing battles with the various enemies and bosses. Between the back cover, and the last page of the book there is also a poster, that has a perforated edge so it can be removed from the book. The original price of the book was $12.99 in the U.S., and £17.99 U.K.
