Although many, perhaps even most, mathematics students and other lovers of mathematics sooner or later come across the famous Euler line, somehow I never did so during my student days, either as a math major at Stanford in the early sixties or as a math graduate student at Berkeley for two years in the mid-sixties (after which I dropped out and switched to physics).
