Building community capacity for tourism development

About this book

"A lack of entrepreneurial capacity, limited understanding of tourism markets and a lack of community understanding of tourism and its impacts have been identified as barriers to effective tourism development in peripheral regions. This book will provide a focused academic analysis of this emerging issue within tourism development practice, while critically examining the dimensions and processes of building community capacity to manage and develop a tourism industry."--BOOK JACKET.
