Generation Cherry

About this book

Generation Cherry is an essential toolkit for a new generation. Many people in their fifties or sixties (and even their fories and seventies) have moved from being the gilded generation to finding themselves with a reduced income or a skinny pension. Whether such changes are down to choice or circumstances, this powerful new book from Tim Drake, shows us how we can take a second bite at the cherry and make a new future work for us. Taking a second bite is more important than ever now that we live in a society where the idea of what 'work' entails is changing, and where jobs, redundancy and retirement are evolving as concepts. Many of us feel far too young to leave our jobs or retire, and many more of us will find it financially challenging to do so. From Enlightened Thrift to the Four Autonomies (Earning, Learning, Giving and Recharging) this book is a toolkit for this new era. It will help you analyse your wider human wealth, and develop a coherent and resilient sense of autonomy. It will also help you find meaning in how your spend your days.
