About this book

"Truong-Nhu Dinh and Tran Thi Truong Nga suffered through years of war and hardship in Vietnam before fleeing to the United States with their children to start a new life. Through sacrifice and struggle, they overcame adversity, triumphed over challenges, and created better lives for their family. While embracing American values, they respect Vietnamese tradition, family, and education. They appreciate the many people who helped and supported them through their up and down times, and they especially thank America, the land of opportunity."--Publisher's Web site.
