Love, death, faith, family, and politics form the perilous mix that fuels this ambitious, cinematic graphic novel about the events surrounding the creation of the modern Israeli state."--Dust jacket. This graphic novel follows a single family, three generations and fifteen very different people, as they are swept up in chaos, war, and nation-making from 1940 to 1948 in what became Israel.
