Jay Leno's police blotter

About this book

Jay Leno has compiled some of the strangest, most outrageously funny clippings from America's newspapers for his regular "headlines" segments on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Jay Leno's police blotter focuses in on material from the world of cops and robbers, where there's no shortage of ridiculous goings-on. "Ventriloquist leaves town -- heads of 2 dummies missing" reads a headline from Nevada County, California. "Toy gun scares robber using toy gun," proclaims the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. The strangest thing of all may be that these stories were spotted by "Tonight Show" viewers in the nation's leading newspapers. It's hard to believe that some of them made it past the editor's desk -- but they did! Following on the heels of the best-selling Headlines series, Jay Leno's Police Blotter is guaranteed to generate big laughs. - Back cover.
