For the love of cats

About this book

Why are people so passionate about their cats? Whether they are curled up in our laps - purring - or bounding through the house and amazing us with their elegant acrobatics, cats offer so much to keep us fascinated by their companionship. Cats are complicated pets, intelligent and affectionate, yet also independent. And while they bear the traits of thousands of years of domesticated living, they all carry a little streak of wildness inside. Part homebody, part hunter, the average housecat is endlessly entertaining. For the Love of Cats explores felines and our obsession with them in a fresh and humorous way, using the 26 letters of the alphabet, creative verses, colorful illustrations, and fun facts.
