More than the Truth is the first of four volumes chronicling the "Curriculum Seminars," an innovative two-year professional development experience for urban middle school teachers from around the country. This volume tells the story of the first seminar - an immersion in the craft of journalism, with all of its demands to observe, use primary sources, and make ideas come alive while remaining honest and fair. Most striking, before setting out to teach, the teachers themselves became students, immersing themselves in the unfamiliar world of professional journalism as novice writers.
