The captain's creek

About this book

Maggie's solitary life is interrupted when she discovers an exhausted stranger on the beach, hiding from the press gang pursuing him. With her father away at sea, she trusts her own intuition, and risks sheltering the man. Little does Maggie realize that this rash act will jeopardize her plans to open up a school with her trusted friend, Hester. For the handsome stranger, Montgomery, is a man led by his own private mission.
