About this book

"The book "Swing Landscape: Stuart Davis and the Modernist Mural" accompanies an exhibition of the same title, the first to explore the mural's aesthetics and history in depth. The exhibition and catalogue exemplify the type of serious research, inspired by the museum's collection, that should be undertaken by a teaching museum located within a major research university such as Indiana University.
