About this book
"Freedom Fighters: Wales's Forgotten 'War', 1963-1993 tells the intriguing story of why the names of these men (John Jenkins, Ernest Alders, George Taylor, Alwyn Jones and Owen Williams) do not hold a place in the pantheon of Welsh heroes. As Jenkins remarked, 'We gave them blood, sweat and tears and they airbrushed us out of history'. No matter what the authentic voice of democratic nationalism might think of these foot soldiers in Wales's forgotten war, they cannot be ignored."--Jacket.
