In for the kill

About this book

A childhood which saw her abandoned on the doorstep of a convent and then abused by her adoptive parents left Christine Hart vulnerable and desperate to find somewhere that she belonged. A quest to trace her real father led her along a confused and complex path to the prison cell of the notorious Moors murderer Ian Brady, and thereafter to a life of espionage and subterfuge. Christine worked undercover for the British security services and then for a series of national newspapers. She got to the core of notorious terrorist groups and witnessed first-hand the nefarious methods for which the UK media were to be vilified. Her continuing fascination with evil then drew her into the web of Los Angeles serial killer Ken Bianchi - the notorious Hillside Strangler. In "For the Kill" is the remarkable, absorbing and sometimes shocking story of the author's search for her own identity - a quest that has taken her into the very heart of darkness.
