About this book

House MTY is located in San Pedro Garza García (State of Nuevo León), in a recently developed forest area and with a strict regulation of construction that emphasizes the ecological protection. This book is an architectural, conceptual, poetic and literary account of the house and its natural and architectural context. With texts by Alexandre Labasse, Richard Meier, Juhani Pallasmaa, Claude Parent, Jesús Silva-Herzog, Billie Tsien and Tod Williams, this monograph project is inspired by the environment, filled with rocks and with interesting topography; a story that narrates the series of squares flowing between the cliffs with the vegetation as enclosure.
