Commentary on the Satires of Juvenal by the Italian humanist Georgius Merula, who taught at Milan and counted Baldassare Castiglione and Trissino among his students. ‡b Following the commentary on Juvenal are Merula's criticism of the commentary on Martial by Domitius Calderinus, as well as his own commentary on Cicero's Pro Ligario and Epistola IX ad Lentulum. This volume is famous in the annals of publishing history for containing the earliest instance of a printed errata list (leaves s6v-s7r). The printer's apology introduces the errata;
