Modern Scotland

About this book

All honour to the lads who have put Scotland in the front at this time, to the lads of the Isles, whose womenfolk are doing their duties, to the old soldiers who have flocked again to the colours, to the sons of our great houses whose blood has so freely been given; honour to the humblest who has sacrificed with equal valour, but she still must lead in sacrifice over our brother Britons, good sportsmen and valiant fighters as they are.
