Aled

About this book

Honest, revealing, heartwarming and quietly humorous - Aled Jones has an amazing story to tell. A household name since bursting into the national consciousness with hit single Walking in the Air, Aled has been successfully involved in many aspects of the media and entertainment industry over the last twenty years - not to mention selling seven million albums. Just some of his memorable moments include a private performance for Prince Charles and Lady Diana in their rooms at Kensington Palace; singing at Bob Geldof's wedding; appearing at the Hollywood Bowl and making his Top of the Pops debut. He even became a teenage pop idol in Japan! Aled tells of the pressure of childhood fame and his determination to forge a career after his voice broke, and how he is back in the charts and selling out his live performances. He was recently the subject of the very last This is Your Life with Michael Aspel at just 32 years of age, and his new role as a television presenter on Songs of Praise has delighted his millions of fans - and won him many more.
