After the rain

About this book

Captain Daniel Spencer had seen enough of war. His patriotism shattered by senseless carnage, his health sapped by wounds, he had nothing left to give. Surely, returning to his wife, Sarah, and their mountainside home in Pennsylvania will restore him. But going home is not that simple. Nothing is the same and nightmares stalk his nights; memories his days. Now the Confederate Army has invaded Pennsylvania and is nearby at Gettysburg and Sarah's sister, Rebecca, is missing. Daniel must find her.
