Pots & plants

About this book

This is a practical and inspirational book on which plants go best into which type of pot in order to have a colourful garden in every season of the year. This book also shows how any size or type of garden can be transformed by carefully arranged and planted pots. The opening section of the book first discusses pots - their shapes, styles, and materials - and then shows how to match the right plants to the right type of container. The second section gives advice and tips on the planting, and care of plants in pots. The main part of the book discusses which plants will best bring colour to your garden at any time of the year, and includes plant recipes for every season both early and late summer. Finally, a comprehensive directory of over 200 plants, listed under their horticultural names, gives the reader the widest possible choice of plants to grow in pots.
