The girl named Luo Shan and other stories

About this book

"This remarkable collection of contemporary Chinese short stories feature unique urban and rural themes and showcase the work of some of China's most critically-acclaimed and up-and-coming writers. For the current generation of writers in China, the traditional intersections between urban and rural have become less clear than in previous generations. These stories depict the hopes, aspirations, frustrations, and the deep cultural longings for even the ordinary; they are slices of everyday life"--Page 4 of cover.
