Hidden wholeness

About this book

This book explores African and African American spirituality in order to provide a basis in which spiritual wholeness can be found. The journey moves from past to present to future - from the oppression of slavery, to the economic and social issues African Americans face today, to the discovery and rediscovery of God's uniting presence beyond the African American community. Hidden Wholeness challenges readers to experience renewal through activities designed for. Individuals and groups. Models of current ministries are also provided to help pastors, active church members, and "seekers" experience spiritual renewal by tapping the wellspring of African American spirituality.
