Light warriors

About this book

"In these beautiful and enigmatic portraits, photographer Joyce Tenneson presents a mythic and timeless vision of the female psyche, at once sensual and spiritual.". "This new book is reminiscent of Tenneson's earlier work with the human figure seen in Transformations and Illuminations. Yet it is also a departure. Tenneson's palette has changed from monochromatic color to luminous dark browns and blacks, mirroring the enlarged scope and complexity of this latest body of work. She continues her own autobiographical journey and documentation of the universal quest of the spiritual warrior - each person's yearning to find one's own deeper essence and uniqueness."--BOOK JACKET.
