Eight recent architectural projects carried out by a generation of German-Swiss architects of the 1950œs and 1960œs active in the Alpine region of Grisons (Graubunden). These projects represent the trajectory of 20th century German-Swiss architectural history, as well as the architectural phenomena that has taken place in the environs of Grisons over the past three decades. The artistic avant-garde, together with Modernism and the humanistic and regional movements that occurred during the last century, set the stage for present-day German-Swiss architectural sensitivity.
