Unleashed

About this book

In a world unraveling by the hour, this was the apocalypse no one saw coming… Captain Ed Crowley doesn’t flinch in the face of gunfire. But when a mutated strain of rabies begins infecting America’s 90 million dogs—turning them into towering, ravenous predators—he’s forced to confront a nightmare that bites back harder than any enemy he’s ever faced. Tasked with rescuing civilians from a town under siege, Crowley enters a battlefield where loyalty is extinct and survival is measured in seconds. These beasts don’t bark. They hunt. And they’re learning. As the infection spreads and the rules of engagement collapse, Crowley must outwit a foe that’s faster, stronger, and far more cunning than anyone imagined. Man’s best friend has become his final reckoning... Gripping, relentless, and disturbingly plausible, this first installment in Scott Medbury’s new series delivers a pulse-pounding ride through a world where the line between pet and predator has been permanently erased.
