The Christmas Store

About this book

In the tradition of *Miracle on 34th Street*, here is a charming collection of 12 magical Christmas tales set in and around a bustling city department store. In "Eau de Noel,'' a perfume brings a new chance for romance (with a funny twist ending), and in "Lost and Found" someone's lost date book gives an unhappy man ideas for celebrating the holidays, which bring him unexpected joys. A number of lonely store workers become friends and create a magical Christmas feast in "The Crystal Silver China Club,'' and in "The Star Checker'' a widower at last finds happiness.
