Dark exodus

About this book

"The civil war which broke out in Sudan in the early 1980s left hundreds of thousands of Sudanese Southerners dead. The dispossessed victims who survived often had to trek hundreds of miles to reach overfilled, poorly constructed refugee camps. Dark Exodus is a collection of sixteen women's heartrending stories of struggle and survival in a time and place of utmost turmoil and tragedy"--Page 4 of cover
