Broken eagle

About this book

"Jake Baird left Army combat service, got his law degree, and settled into his one-man law practice in the South, fully intending to leave life-threatening situations behind. But when a disheveled ex-military officer presses into his hands a folder of classified documents about a developmental aircraft, the fatally flawed Sea Eagle, his safe and comfortable world is blown apart. With the files comes a warning, "Watch your six." Jake soon finds his world crawling with men in dark suits and sunglasses who are willing to do anything--including murder--to recover the files and prevent dissemination of their contents so the program can continue. Jake is caught in the fight of his life--to save himself, do justice for the widow of a Marine pilot, and prevent the deaths of more service members."--Page [4] of cover.
