Vignettes of victory

About this book

In this series of "Vignettes," author Paul Marshall portrays the heroism, holiness, and humor of Salvationists through snapshots of their lives. From the Salvation Army's founders to soldiers working today, each story offers a look into the personal experiences of those who dedicated their lives to God and their service to his world. Each vignette offers its own gem of inspiration, understanding, and enjoyment through tales of the Army's "good old" days, of the dedicated few inducted into the Army's esteemed order of the founder, of Salvationists who lived through the two World Wars, and of lives saved and renewed by contact with the Salvation Army. With this book, Paul Marshall breathes life into Salvation Ary history and shows what it means to be swept into the Army's joyous victory march through the years and across the globe.
