This is a collection of some of the best folk humor from 1964 era Soviet Union.\ An example of what is called 'anekdot':\ \ A Party member went fishing with a non-Party friend. Presently, the non-Party member began to haul in fish while the Party member caught none.\ "Why are you catching so many when I haven't even had a nibble?" asked the Communist.\ "Simple," said his friend. "Seeing that Party badge in your lapel, even the fish are afraid to open their mouths."
