The astronomer

About this book

Sunmi’s scifi comic zine tells the story of a woman starting her role as the royal court’s astronomer in a modern fantastical kingdom. At the end of the zine Sunmi writes a letter to readers and shares a sneak peek at early sketches of the zine’s characters. Sunmi uses a color palette of murky greens, warm blues, and pops of mustard yellow to paint this magical universe.
