Geir Moseid has since 2007 worked with the series Plucked as an investigation of the home's duality, social segregation, urban alienation and interpersonal relationships. This duality extends further through the use of the ethical guidelines from both traditional social documentary and staged photography. The images are related to a subconscious understanding of aesthetic elements that do not necessarily depend on authenticity, which verifies the staged photograph's approach to social examination and reflection. Geir Moseid har siden 2007 jobbet med serien Plucked som en gransking av hjemmets dualitet, sosial segregasjon, urban fremmedgjøring og mellommenneskelige forhold. Denne dualiteten forlenger seg videre gjennom bruken av de etiske retningslinjene fra både tradisjonell sosialdokumentarisk og iscenesatt fotografi. Bildene er relatert til en underbevisst forståelse av estetiske elementer som ikke nødvendigvis er avhengig av autensitet, noe som verifiserer det iscenesatte fotografiets tilnærmelse til sosial undersøkelse og refleksjon.
