Tiotalets svenska bostad

About this book

More and better housing needs to be built. What do we take with us from the decade, what was built, for whom and how? In this book, we have collected 25 housing projects from the 2010s. Some of them typical of the decade, others more innovative exceptions or inspiring alternatives. There is a lot of criticism to be directed at the market-driven Swedish housing construction of the decade. For the first time in the history of Swedish housing, writes Ola Nylander, worse housing is being built in the 2010s than in previous decades. But there is room for improvement. This book is full of examples of that. Here we have gathered professional knowledge about home design. Here are concrete and built arguments for architects, planners and politicians that show how a good home can be designed in the 2020s.
